For the past few months, I have been wanting to try something new with my hair before I begin my internship in coming months. Wells, you must have the corporate looked when you step into the working work right? Beside it has been a while since I last visited a salon, simply because I wanted to keep my hair long; it also made my hair look out of shape which was pretty ugly.
Last week, I decided to get a hair makeover at Shawn Cutler at Bangsar Telawi. Shawn Cutler is the premier style studio in Malaysia led by Shawn Loong who won the title of L’Oreal Colour Trophy Malaysia Awards. After a short consultation with the senior hair stylist, Qamal, he recommended me to change my current hairstyle to something fresher and younger. Since I wanted to have different colour at one time without bleaching my hair like dip-dye, Qamal did layer colouring for me. To compliment my skin tone, he coloured a purplish colour on the outer layer and brownish colour in the inner later as he understood that I wouldn't never let go the lighter brown colour on my hair, simply because I want to look like a fake japanese! Once the colouring has completed, Qamal did a hair treatment on my hair to protect it. After the treatment, Qamal chopped three inches of my hair to make my hair looked more lively and easier to maintain as my previous hair style was really in bad shape. In fact, Qamal told me that I could pull over with even shorter hair, guess I'd give it a try when my hair gets longer again. Once done, my hair was blown dry and created a volume, how much I love volume and bounce hair!
Other than getting a hair makeover, I got myself a pedicure as well!
How I love my 2 tones coloured hair. I thought I wouldnt be able to accept my hair in darker tone but wells, the outcome looked awesome. I almost forgotten how it felt to have a dark hair colour after highschool.

Just like what Shaun said, "Hair is the most important accessory that one can have. It is human nature to judge a person by his/her hair." So what do you think about my new look? Yesterday night was my 4th night to stay in and honestly speaking, its has started slowly to drive me nuts! My life seems to be surrounded with nothing but only with university and gym nowadays. Mind to tell me how is that consider as a happening life since most people tend to think that I'm always at somewhere having fun and enjoying my life. Truth is, I only have been spending time with myself recently, maybe because I'm used to getting my stuffs done alone so it doesn't really affect or upset me although it sounds like I'm forever a loner. Wells, I don't think that I'm that lonely or pathetic after all, at least I had a night out during the previous weekday as I was invited to attend WeChat Commercial Launch at Neverland, KL.
I have been an active user of WeChat since late 2012, simply because I love the fact that WeChat allows me to chat with my friends instantly through voice messages, texts or pictures. It makes me feel closer to those who study at overseas because I'm able to leave voice messages or annoy them at anytime and anywhere without worrying about the time zone, how convenience is that? And also, I can even see their face via video call, that count, it makes me feel that they never left at all. On top of that, WeChat also allow users to upload their picture and caption to share it with other users, you won't feel being left out from anything in their live. Best part of this app is, it's free to download and access it as long as you have internet connection. So when I received the invitation to WeChat party, I immediately reserved my spot for this party.
The event was mainly to introduce the new ambassadors of WeChat, Lisa Surihani and Shaheizy Sam. To hype up the party, the organization also invited singers such as Vivian, Henley and Awi Rafael as the performers of the evening to entertain the guests. On that night itself, I met up with so many bloggers from different agencies that I have not been seeing for quite some times, it was rather a bloggers reunion. Overall, WeChat did a great job by bringing most of the bloggers to gather at one place for one event which was a very rare scene that happened at event. They managed to pull so many bloggers to catch up with one another, it shown us that how good they are good at communicating reflected that WeChat would be a great communication tool as well. Since the new year began, I made the resolution which is party lesser
and I'm glad to say that my resolution is going well as it is pretty
obvious that I have been cutting those parties in my life compared to
last year. Partly is because I have been being occupied with movie or
dinner outings which I love to do it. But wells, sometimes, a single lady deserves to enjoy her times by having some fun night out right?
Last Saturday. I had the opportunity to attend one of the hottest
parties of the year that I was sure most of the celebrities and people
would be there for the night, it was Johnnie Walker Circuit Lounge. This year, Samantha and I went together along with our the other friend.
Believe it or not, it was my first time to attend Johnnie Walker
Circuit Lounge with Samantha. Decided to stick with my usual colour of the outfit which was black since I figured it out that black would be the best colour to go along with the event, sounded like a bored colour but that was actually my most secure colour. As for the style of outfit, what was I even thinking? It wasn't my typical cutesy look but rather, emr, explored? A black V mesh looked great at the first place since I couldn't find any dress to fit me well, so thought of giving a try to different style by pairing up with my leather black shirt, boom! Reached on time with my friends and managed to catch up and party with bloggers, it has been a while since I last partied with them. It was good, everyone enjoyed free flow of Johnnie Walker which probably caused everyone to be tipsy for the rest of the night. It was hilarious when I looked back at those pictures that are taken during the night, girls, my tolerant really went down a lot, it shown it all out through the pictures, goodness. The bright part was, I didn't get drunk and manage to enjoy the night, party responsible.
I once heard, "You know it's real when your latest night is your greatest night, the sun is up when you get home, that's just a way of life." I couldn't agree more. Johnnie Walker Circuit Lounge and Zouk as second round ended my Saturday night perfectly, I was happy that I finally manage to take some rest from busy studies life and personal emotional. Thank you for the great night, it was good to see those bloggers after 4 months since I last attended a happening party event, Johninie Walker Circuit Lounge, you made my night to be happening after so long, it was worth to break the rule and party for that weekend!

It's Friday night yet I'm staying in instead of going out for a drink or party with my friends. Wells, I
figured it out that it would be better to cut down the social active
side of me after a year of being so-called happening on the weekend but
the truth is, I'm far from the happening lifestyle if you know me well enough. Just somehow, people have the wrong impression about my lifestyle. There
is no such rule says that one has to go out on a Friday night as the
universe will not fold in on itself if one decides that he wants to stay
in. I used to think that it's saddening when I told my friends that I
had to spend my Friday night by rushing for assignments at library, the
looked I gotten was like i had something wrong with my mind. Truth was, I
did it willingly for the relationship back then. As for this year, I'm
cutting it down for my own good, I don't need any excuse to stay at home
or being less happening. Zouk or Giza will still be there next weekend
and the one after, and the one after and it goes on. Even God took a day
off, you know? So chill hard and prosper! Wells, another factor that I'm staying in tonight is because I have to
complete 2 presentation and an article that due on next week. Back to
uni for final semester is certainly not fun at all, I have to constantly
remind myself not to screw the last 2 subjects, that makes me feel even
more stressful for no reason. I'm just gonna suck it all up and survive
the next 12 weeks of studies!
Anyway, enough of my ranting, time for something cheerful! And so I know that I haven't blog about CNY' 13 although it has ended for
weeks, wells, why not tonight? One thing I like about CNY other than the food is the quality
time we get to spend with people who we cared, it creates more bond, I
hope. Despite that it's annoying when the adults questions about our
life like "when are you gonna get a boyfriend?", "how long more til you
complete your studies?", "what's with your happening lifestyle?" and so
on, it simply shows that they care for the younger generation. It really
upset me when I see my little cousins only played with their iPad or
laptop when they came over for pai nian, there wasn't any communication
at the younger generation, this is bad. I hope my grandparents will all forbid all of us to bring smart phone, iPad and laptop during the coming CNY dinner. I'll try to survive without it during dinner time! In short, I had one of the best CNY compared to previous years, to cut the long
story short, I was packed with pai nian and reunion dinners during CNY
week, let the pictures speak!

just went for causal outfits during CNY and now, I wonder, when can I
start dressing up with my new clothes that was supposed to be wore
during the festival, aiks. That pretty much sum up my CNY'13, I hope you
